A National Healthcare Organization is in the need of a Buyer. The Buyer participates in the cost-effective management of supplies and equipment from acquisition through disposition in accordance with the Administrative, Finance and Material Resources policy and procedures. The Buyer is responsible for sourcing and procurement of supplies, equipment and services for all requesters and related functions.1. Receives requisitions verifies that they possess proper administrative approvals. 2. Places orders with suppliers which offer the most favorable pricing consistent with quality, quantity, contract obligations, service and delivery time and consistent with MHS Contracting strategy3. Performs necessary follow-up between departments and vendorsThis position will start in office and switch to a hybrid remote schedule.
